Start Of Play Delayed At APL

Washington, Mich. - The start of play was delayed at the 2002 U.S. Amateur Public Links due to lightning strikes in the area on Friday.

The first match of the quarterfinal round, which was slated to start at 7:30 a.m. (EDT), began at 9:30 a.m. (EDT). The starting times throughout the day have been adjusted to reflect the delay.
