Township, N.J. - Brandt Snedeker, 22, of Nashville, Tenn., triggered
by 11 birdies in 27 holes, defeated Dayton Rose, 20, of Stillwater,
Okla., 10 and 9, in the 36-hole match play final Saturday at the 2003
U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club's
East Course.

Township, N.J. – Medalist Jeff Overton, 20, of Evansville, Ind., who
tied two USGA records in stroke play, advanced to the third round of
match play and defending champion Ryan Moore, 20, of Puyallup, Wash.,
was eliminated Thursday at the 2003 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship
at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club’s East Course.

Township , N.J. – Jeff Overton, 20, of Evansville , Ind., tied a USGA
36-hole record at 10-under-par 132 and earned medalist honors by seven
strokes after the second round of stroke play at the 2003 U.S. Amateur
Public Links Championship at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club’s East Course.

APL Champion Ready To Defend 2002 Title At Blue Heron Pines

Township, N.J. - The roar emanated from Amen Corner, through the tall
pines and the azaleas and up toward the clubhouse. Arnold Palmer was
there,
but the rising audible tones weren't being caused by The King. The cheers
were for an amateur enjoying his first Masters experience in the tournament's
opening round.

Mich. Ryan Moore roared to a 10 and 9 victory over Lee Williamson
in the final of the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship Saturday.
